By accessing and using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from using the Website or associated services.
Use of the Website
- The content provided on the Website is for informational and entertainment purposes only. It does not constitute legal or financial advice.
- You agree not to use the Website or its services for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
- You understand that the Website is not affiliated with or endorsed by any lottery commission.
API Usage Terms
By generating an API key, you agree to use ResultsZA services in accordance with our terms and conditions:
- API keys are for personal or authorized business use only
- Each API call counts against your monthly subscription limit
- Rate limits apply to prevent system abuse
- Monthly subscriptions provide a fixed number of API calls based on your selected tier (Starter: 200, Basic: 1,000, Professional: 4,000)
- Grace Period: When your subscription expires, you have 7 days to renew before it's fully deactivated
- Unused calls expire: After the 7-day grace period, any remaining unused API calls are permanently lost
- Early Upgrade: If you exhaust your API calls before expiration, you can upgrade to a higher tier (new subscription starts from activation date)
- Renewal: Same tier renewal is only allowed during grace period or before expiration
- Monthly usage limits reset when a new subscription period begins after renewal or upgrade
- Reselling or redistributing API data requires written permission
- ResultsZA reserves the right to revoke API access for violations
API Subscription Service
- Service Overview: API subscriptions provide access to lottery results and data through our API endpoints for a monthly fee.
- Subscription Tiers: Choose from Starter (200 calls/month), Basic (1,000 calls/month), or Professional (4,000 calls/month).
- Expiration and Renewal:
- Subscriptions expire at the end of each billing cycle (30 days from activation)
- 7-Day Grace Period: After expiration, you have 7 days to renew before subscription is fully deactivated
- Unused API calls are permanently lost after the grace period ends
- You will receive email reminders 7, 3, and 1 day before expiration, and during grace period
- Early Upgrade: If you run out of calls before expiration, you can upgrade to a higher tier immediately
- Renewal Rules: Same tier renewal only during grace period or before expiration
- Check your subscription status regularly using the balance check endpoint
- Payment and Cancellation: Subscription fees are charged monthly in advance. Users can cancel their subscription at any time, but no refunds will be issued for the current billing period.
- Service Downtime: While every effort will be made to ensure uninterrupted service, we do not guarantee that the API or related services will always be operational. In the event of service downtime, we will apply reasonable efforts to restore functionality as soon as possible. No refunds will be provided for service interruptions.
- User Responsibility for Security:
- Users are solely responsible for keeping their API keys secure.
- ResultsZA will not be held liable if an unauthorized party gains access to your API key or data due to compromised credentials.
Limitation of Liability
The Website and its services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the information or services presented.
We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Website, API subscription, or related services.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update and modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Website or related services after changes are made will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
