API Subscription Service: For users of the API subscription service, we collect and store the following information:

• Your name and email address (for invoice generation and communication)
• API key and associated usage data (API call counts, subscription tier, billing cycle dates)
• Subscription status, tier level, and payment information
• IP address used for API key generation (for security and rate limiting purposes)
• Invoice and payment records
• Top-up purchase requests, including the package selected, calls requested, payment reference, invoice records, and activation status
• Backlink Rewards submissions: the page URLs you submit for the Backlink Rewards program, which we retrieve over HTTP to verify your link when you add it and on a daily basis thereafter

This information is used to manage your subscription, process payments, provide API access, activate top-up purchases, verify Backlink Rewards links, send renewal reminders, and ensure service security.

Users are responsible for keeping their API keys confidential. ResultsZA is not responsible for any unauthorized access to your API account or subscription details due to the loss or sharing of these credentials.

If you suspect that your API key has been compromised, contact info@resultsza.co.za straight away. If a sub-key is affected, you can revoke it and create a replacement yourself in the API & Webhook Portal.

We are committed to protecting your personal information and complying with applicable data protection laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal information may include your name, email address, IP address, and other contact details. We only collect this information when you voluntarily provide it for specific purposes, such as:

• Subscribing to our API service (for invoice generation and subscription management)
• Generating API keys (IP address is collected for security purposes)

We use this information solely for the purposes stated above and do not share your personal information with third parties except as required by law or as necessary to provide our services (e.g., payment processing).

The Website may use cookies and other tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience. Cookies are small data files stored on your device that help improve website functionality. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings.

We may use third-party services, such as analytics providers, to gather information about your interactions with the Website. These services may collect information about your usage patterns and help us improve the Website's performance and content.

Some pages on the Website include "Play Now" and "Bet on" links to YesPlay and Hollywoodbets, our affiliate partners. Clicking one of these links takes you to that partner's website, which is governed by the partner's own privacy policy, not this one. ResultsZA does not share any personal data with YesPlay or Hollywoodbets.

Affiliate link clicks are recorded anonymously (page or button clicked and the time only, no personal data) so we can measure engagement with the affiliate program.

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no data transmission over the internet is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information.

In the event of service interruptions, data related to your subscriptions, API key usage, API call tracking, subscription billing cycles, and notifications may still be processed to ensure functionality is restored as quickly as possible. We are not liable for service interruptions but will apply reasonable efforts to resolve issues promptly.

Subscription Data Retention: We retain subscription and billing information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. API usage data is retained to track subscription limits and billing cycles.

Right to Erasure / Account Deletion: Subscribers may request permanent deletion of their account and all associated personal data at any time using the self-service deletion tool in the API & Webhook Portal (Account → Danger Zone). Upon deletion, personal data including your email address, API usage history, and subscription records are permanently removed from our active systems. Payment records are anonymised rather than deleted where retention is required for legal or accounting obligations. This right may be exercised at any time without contacting support.

If you sign up for the paid Number Checker service (resultsza.co.za/my-numbers), we store the following information so that we can check your numbers and tell you about wins:

• Your name and email address (to identify your account and send your messages)
• Your password, stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text
• The numbers you play (your saved lines and the games you ticked for each)
• Your results history (what each of your lines matched in each draw)
• Your Telegram chat ID, only if you choose to connect Telegram (to send you messages there)
• Your payment records (for your subscription and for accounting)
• The IP address you signed up from (to protect the service from abuse)

How long we keep it: We keep your saved numbers and results history until you delete your account, including after your subscription ends. When you delete your account, your numbers, results history, Telegram link and account are removed. Payment records are kept for accounting purposes. You can disconnect Telegram at any time by sending /unlink to the ResultsZA bot. Sign-ups that are not confirmed by email are removed after 48 hours. A record of the emails we send to your address (the date, subject and whether it was delivered) is kept in our email log for operational purposes, including after you delete your account.

The free number checker is different: The free one-line checker at resultsza.co.za/check-your-numbers checks your numbers in your browser, and those numbers never leave your browser. That statement applies to the free checker only. Numbers you save in the paid Number Checker service are stored on our servers, as described above.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any changes. Continued use of the Website after modifications constitutes your consent to the updated policy.
